Natural dye face mask .

Earthy khaki greens.

Urtica Dioica . High in essential minerals, it has long been used as a medicinal, an ingredient in dishes and perhaps most widely as a tea. Nettle fibres have been found in burial cloths from Bronze age tombs and its dark green dye was used to make camouflage during the Second World War.

The stinging hairs on the foliage are destroyed when simmered in the dye vat.

Notes . Reverse fold on the left side of each face. Comes in a handy carry bag to keep the mask clean and easy to pocket. The optional neck strap can be knotted onto each ear strap and worn around the back of the head to allow the mask to be fully removed but remain at hand.

Care . Washable at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle or by hand. Do not tumble dry.
